Gardnertown Farm is home to two indoor arenas, a show arena and a polo arena where horseback riders can work on riding skills and compete in horse shows. We’re one of the only horse boarding facilities in the Northeast with multiple arenas. This allows us to offer riding lessons, polo and horse shows year-round, rain or shine.
Premier programs at Gardnertown Farms
Gardnertown Farms offers a variety of programs in Newburgh, NY, including:
Private and group horseback riding sessions
Learn the art of horseback riding while practicing mounting, steering, cantering and trotting techniques. Beginner and advanced riders are welcome.
Polo lessons
Pick up a mallet and enjoy a fast-paced game of polo. You can learn how to play at our polo arena, compete in tournaments and join the United States Polo Association. We also offer an indoor polo club. Call for more details about Gardnertown Polo Club.
Horse shows
Braiding, warmup and cool-down routines and show attire are all crucial for a successful horse show. At Gardnertown Farm, you can train your horse for horse shows, then compete in one of our competitions.
Summer camp
Enroll your child in summer camp at Gardnertown Farm. Our horsemanship program is a great way for children to improve their horseback riding skills while having fun with other campers.
IEA team
Do you want to join the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA)? Gardnertown Farms has a middle school and high school team. If you are interested in joining our team for the upcoming season, please email tdencker1@aol.com.
We also accommodate birthday parties on our farm! Little ones can enjoy one hour of riding and one hour for pizza and ice cream cake.
